MRI or Magnetic Resonance Imaging is an advanced medical technology that enables the taking of high-resolution images of different parts of the human anatomy.

3T MRI - Silver St, Randwick

 

- 3T MRI Silent scan* for children - This is a revolutionary technique that allows the scans to occur in almost complete silence while still producing high quality images. Traditionally, MRI scans are known to produce sounds of up to 100 decibels. With this new technology, we are able to mask almost all the sound, producing sound levels that are similar to the ambient sound found in a quiet room. 

*Please note that there may still be noise during the scan based on the imaging requirements and to ensure adequate image quality.

 

- Wider Bore for claustrophobia, anxiety, large body build or obesity patients.

 

 

 

GP MRI Criteria

 

General Practitioners can now refer for particular MRI scans which will be Medicare rebatable.
