From 1 July 2025
In line with recent Medicare reforms, Spectrum Medical Imaging has expanded the availability of specialist referred MRI appointments eligible for a Medicare rebate. This enhancement aims to provide more patients with timely access to essential imaging services, improving affordability and increasing convenience.

Spectrum Medical Imaging is proud to participate in Australia's National Lung Cancer Screening Program, launched on July 1, 2025. This initiative offers eligible individuals free, Medicare-funded low-dose CT scans to detect lung cancer early, aiming to improve treatment outcomes and save lives. Our state-of-the-art imaging facilities are equipped to provide these screenings, contributing to the national effort in combating lung cancer.
