Profile
Dr Melvin Wong graduated from the University of New South Wales with first-class honours. He trained in radiology at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Westmead Hospital in Sydney. He subsequently completed an MRI fellowship at the Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s Hospital with subspecialty training in musculoskeletal and body MRI.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) and was awarded the M.G.F. Donnan Prize for Pathology in the RANZCR part II specialist examinations.

Dr Wong is currently a senior staff specialist at the Prince of Wales and Sydney Children's Hospital. He is regularly involved in the gastro-oncology, lymphoma, sarcoma, and urology multidisciplinary meetings. Dr Wong served as Director of Training for five years at Prince of Wales Hospital and continues to be involved in registrar teaching.
