Profile
Dr Dean Rabinowitz graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours. He trained in Radiology between Royal Perth Hospital in WA and Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney before obtaining advanced and fellowship training in MRI (with Body MRI emphasis) in 2013-14. He currently holds a staff specialist position at Prince of Wales/Sydney Children’s Hospital (body imaging/oncology intervention/cardiothoracic subspecialist roles).

Dr Rabinowitz actively participates in chest, cardiac, abdominal and oncology clinical meetings.
He has a strong interest in body MR/CT with extensive experience in chest, abdominal and urological imaging. He is accredited in CT coronary angiography (Level B), CT colonography and cardiac MRI. He has an interest in contrast enhanced ultrasound.

He has strong research and teaching interests, currently coordinating the imaging components of the Basic Physician and Emergency Training programs at Prince of Wales Hospital. He is a conjoint lecturer with the POWH-UNSW Clinical School.
