Dr Anthony Kaplan

Dr Anthony Kaplan is a Diagnostic Radiologist, having completed his radiology training in 1998. He is a Fellow of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiologists, a Fellow of College of Radiology of South Africa and a Fellow of Royal College of Radiology (London).

 

He was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist in the Department of Radiology at Liverpool Hospital in 2001 where he currently works as a senior Staff Specialist and he was a founding partner of Spectrum Medical Imaging in 2008 where he works as a Radiologist and Director.

 

He has focused on cardiovascular, thoracic and body radiology and has vast experience with oncology imaging. He also has considerable experience with Neuroimaging and Head & Neck Imaging. He is an active participant and lead radiologist in multiple MDTs including Thoracic Oncology, Chest Imaging, Interstitial Lung Disease, Urology and Cardiology.

 

Dr. Kaplan also has an interest in education and was Director of Training at Liverpool Hospital for the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR) between 2002 and 2009. He has previously served on the interview panel of RANZCR for assessment of Overseas Trainees and has also served as an Accreditation Officer for the College. He is a conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.
