Profile

Dr Zarzour graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2017, earning a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons I), Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, and Doctor of Medicine degrees. He pursued his prevocational training in the Bankstown/Campbelltown Hospital network and completed Radiology training at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, earning an RANZCR Fellowship in 2025. He undertook an Interventional Radiology fellowship at Westmead Hospital in 2025 and obtained European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) credentials in 2026. He is a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA). Dr Zarzour currently holds public interventional radiology appointments at Liverpool Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital, and is a member of the interventional and diagnostic radiology teams at Spectrum Radiology.

Expertise Dr Zarzour enjoys the practice of interventional radiology and performs a wide variety of procedures, including embolisations, biopsies, drainages and injections. His interests include interventional oncology, hepatobiliary intervention, embolisation, ablation, vascular access, and pain management procedures. He also has a special interest in conducting research to improve the quality and safety of interventional radiology procedures.
