Paediatric Imaging

Imaging procedures can be daunting for a child. At Spectrum, our trained staff strive to ensure a supported and comfortable environment for every imaging procedure performed.

Spectrum Medical Imaging has a strong Paediatric team, with experienced paediatric radiologists available for consultation across our practices.

Our paediatric radiologists are Dr Chee Chung Hiew and Dr Jeanette Taylor. Both Drs Hiew and Taylor are fellowship trained paediatric radiologists and both currently hold appointments at The Sydney Children’s Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Women Randwick and The Prince of Wales Hospital.

Our radiologists also offer advanced paediatric subspecialty reporting (Dr Sarah Morris, Paediatric Musculoskeletal Imaging; Dr Daniel Moses, Paediatric Abdominal MR and Cardiac CT and MR; Dr Jason Wenderoth, Paediatric Neurovascular).

Spectrum Medical Imaging offers Paediatric MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray and low dose CT, with the studies being interpreted by Radiologists experienced in Paediatric Imaging.

Spectrum offers the silent scan* for children in our Randwick - Silver Street Rooms.
